  • The course starts on Monday the 13th June 2024
  • 4 week course
  • course ends 6th June 2024

Course Times

The course runs from Monday to Friday, with 4 lessons per day.

9 am to 10.30   –   10.30 am to 12    –   1 to 2.30 pm  –   2.30 to 4 pm

Location - Classroom

  • Day 1 & 2 (Monday & Tuesday 13th  & 14th June 2024) – room 1205 (2nd floor, left-hand side)
  • Day 3 onward (from the 15th June 2024) – room 1102 (1st floor, left-hand side)

Course Syllabus

The course is split into 4 main parts

  1. English for Study Skills – Dr Séamus
  2. English for Presentations – Ajarn Sarah
  3. English for Academic Purposes – Dr Michael
  4. English for Communication – Ajarn Pamela

Course Goals

  • To develop the communication skills of students
  • To provide a learning environment where students feel comfortable to use language effectively and experimentally
  • To encourage individual students to own their learning experience
  • To encourage individual students to take responsibility for their own learning progress

Course Certificate

Students with over 80% attendance that complete the course successfully will be awarded a certificate.
